Im in the process of replacing my door speakers, does anyone have a wiring chart that shows which wire is positive and which is negative. Right now im on the front door and the wires are orange/green and light blue/white.
I swapped my stock speakers for a pair of Infinity separates (tweeters mounted on door frame). The color code for the factory speakers was pretty much undeciferable so what I did is just hook them up and listen to an AM station (mono). If it sounded like one point source in the middle of the dash, it was connected properly (in phase). If you move your head between the speakers and it sounds funny, the speakers are out of phase. Just reverse one pair of wires and you should be good to go.
