Some of the freeze/core plugs in the 351m in my truck are leaking and I need to replace them. I believe there is 3 on each side, and none on the front. Are there any in the back? I imagine there are 2 back there but I don't want to pull the motor if I don't have to.
I was trying to find some pictures. I found lots of the front, top and even the bottom, but very few of the back without the bellhousing.
Thanks again.
That’s the cam bore plug
No frost plugs in the back of the block
Yes that is correct—but in the kit, it comes anyway—there are also 2 screw bolt inserts next to it on the rear as well. The cam plug is stainless, while the rest are brass plugs, thus denoting they are antifreeze plugs..
