Cannot help ya, but can try to extract more info.
What color is the smoke?
Is it just a puff, or does it appear for more than 1-2 seconds?
Does the smoke have an odor/smell to it? If yes, describe the smell.

Does it smoke only if the last time you drove it was a couple hundred feet, like moving it around in the driveway? Seems like all mod motors do this. My van blew a puff of smoke when it was brand new in the dealer's lot, and will do the same thing now if I move it in the driveway, then leave it overnight. I rarely do this, but if I do, I can count on a little cloud of blue smoke when I restart it.
After 95k miles, it consumes almost zero oil (less now than when it was new). So if these circumstances sound familiar to you, I'd say no problem. But if it ALWAYS smokes on startup even after parking it after a longer drive, you may have a problem.

Every truck I've had (98,03,06,08,10) puffs smoke if I drive it out of the driveway and park it in the street and let it sit for several hours.
The 98 and 03 where 5.4 2v, the 06 and 08 where 5.4 3v and the current 2010 truck is a 4.6 3v
