Lately, to get the truck out of Park, I have to push the brake pedal much harder, and sometimes I have to pump the brake pedal, to get it to come out of park.
Any Ideas on what could cause this? Is there a Switch on the brake pedal that may need "calibration"??? Can I Defeat this feature???
there should be a sensor on your brake pedal that senses when the pedal moves ( also turns on brake lights) on your vehicle this sensor not working would make it unable for you to shift since it doesnt sense that the pedal has been depressed. maybe the connection is bad. my guess would be the sensor, good luck.
