E350 BODY SWAP

I HAVE A 98 E350 DIESEL 4x4 Quigley conversion. The body is straight but kinda rusty and it's a basic no frills model, I have a line on 2 cheap 01 and 02 E150 and E350 gas engined , very clean bodies passenger vans fully loaded. the 150 is cleaner, will the 150 bolt to the 350's frame as long as the wheelbase is the same? Or are they different, like the F series 150 vs. 350. They look the same, but I'm not 10% sure on this. Hope someone knows . Thanks

So as long as the wheelbase is the same, the 150 and 350 are identical bodies?

I'm agreeing with Mark K on this----the main difference between the E150's up to E350's would be the suspension and remaining running gear. Typically the body mounting points (with same size body) should be exactly alike.

I know for a fact the doors, windshield and nearly every other body related part are the same from because I've swapped them myself. Model years '92 to at least '05 all call for the same part numbers body-wise. I won't say with 100% certainty they're the same but 99.99% I'd go with, no hesitation!

The easiest way to know for sure is crawling under both with a tape measure and make notes along with photos or good visual recall.

And as far as you guys know, there are 2 wheelbases, regular and extended, correct? Extended differentiated by having the extra window at rear and regular having none?

There is one wheelbase. All Econolines have the same wheelbase from 1992 to present. The bodies are either regular length or extended.

Did you ever complete your project? I am in the same position. I have a good running 7.3 Quigley but it has body issues. Wondering how difficult it would be to swap a gas conversion van body onto my frame?

Thanks

I don't know for a fact but I can't imagine there being a specific diesel body.

The diesel body is not different.

The fuel system
The clusters are different but I don't know if the body harness is the same.
I am just looking for a good body swap candidate. Hoping to find something with the RV set up inside I want a standard e350 frame with raised roof
