Ball joint noise?

Ball joint noise?
Do bad ball joints make a clunking sound that can be felt in the floorboard when going over bumps and turning at the same time? I would suspect sway bar links, but they have been replaced. The sway bar axle bushings have not though, could they make that clunk?

Welcome to FTE. Yes bad ball joints can make that noise. The way to check ball joints is with a helper. One of you needs to watch the ball joints. The other needs to jack the truck up so the wheel is an inch or so in the air. Place a wood block next to the wheel and lay a long prybar over the block and stick the end under the tire. Pry down on the bar several times so the tire is forced in an up and down motion. If you can see any slop in the ball joints while doing this, then they need to be changed.
