Ball joints
Ive noticed a clunking noise recently while braking when coming to a stop. it is just one sharp thud as soon as i hit the brakes. I checked the ball joints, tie rod ends and sway bar links. i found that my sway bar links where shot so i replaced but am still have the clunking noise and it seems to be getting worse and usually happens more after a left turn. My uncle to me to check my ball joints again. Should i jack up the hole front and put jack stands under the axle or let my tire free hang before checking again??? and suggestions would be helpfull.

You can just jack up one tire at a time, til its high enough to get a 2x4 or a pry bar or something under the tire to pry up on it. If you have another person to help, let them do that while you lay under there and keep a close eye on the ball joints. You shouldn't see any play.
You might also check your steering drag link, inner tie rod, etc. Some of that could be causing a clunk while turning as well.
