Well a "normal" trans temp from all of my research is "about" 80 degrees above ambient.
I usually see 10 to 30 degrees above that when pulling heavy under averge conditions. (flat highway, above 45mph ect...
)

Mine runs about 185-190 unless running up mountains.....Have never seen it get to 200 that I remember.......But that tranny can get quite higher without damage..... It's stout tranny! Use tow/haul mode.....
