Still no start.

Only code I'm pulling if P0611 - FICM RAM/ROM fault..

Waiting to hear from swamps on Monday. I think even though the FICM has 57.2V, something in it has failed. It's about the only thing that makes sense at this point.

That's the ONLY thing that makes any sense and something else to prove that just because the voltage is good doesn't make the FICM good. Sorry for your "loss" but it's good information/education in the continuous learning process.

did the injectors buzz when you cycle the key to KOEO

have someone cycle the key while you listen for the buzz

I believe he already checked for FICM logic power but this is from the FICM guide: If there is no FICM logic power to the FICM, the
injectors will still buzz once the key is cycled but
the engine will not start. There will be no other
symptoms related to the no start condition.

I do have injector buzz.

I have 12V FICM Logic 57.2V FICM Main 12V FICM (the other one I can't remember)

I guess what I'm trying to prove is just becuase the FICM has power it doesn't mean it "works" Hence P0611

It doesn't start, it throws P0611, sure sounds like a FICM issue.

For my sake, I hope it is.

UPDATE:

Just heard from Dave at Swamps. Very impressed, he emailed me twice on a Sunday.

Dave says, "P0611 is voltage out of range, in this case high"

If you have a way to monitor INJECTION control pressure (High pressure oil) Then I would like to see what the ICP_Actual psi and compare that to ICP_Desired.

The desired is what the ECM is requesting, and the actual is what is actually being reported by the ICP sensor to the ECM"

I think I previously posted my ICPs. Going to look for them now.

There's nothing wrong with your ICP cranking. I'm not sure where P0611 came out to be voltage "high" unless it has something to do with the 58V output but by the FORD diagnostic code list it's LOSS of FICM power or memory fault.

I thought that a p0611 was a FICM preformance thing not a HPO code

P0611 Fuel Injector Control Module Performance D* d

I think your HPO system is ok

It was building enough pressure to start anyway

Yeah, I agree.

I saw the P0611 as Ram/Rom fault. Noted nothing to do with High voltage.

Now what?

It sure seems like a dead ficm. I'm guessing the programming got corrupted. He's the FICm expert so I'll run down the ICP issue with him.

Apparently P0611 is a common code for FICM putting out more than stock voltage.

Awesome, so truck isn't throwing any codes, it just doesn't start. This really isn't fun anymore.

this what scared me about the power upgrade codes &
and the fact the injectors are now getting 10volts than what it was originaly designed for

well for some reason I always had it in my mind that if they buzzed the injector drivers was good in the ficm

Ok so theres more to it than that

I had read that a LONG time ago and forgotten about it. Run the onboard diagnostic test and see what comes up again. You had something in RED IIRC.
