Its easier if you loosen the fuel bowl . It can be done without if you remove one of the fuel lines
Remove the wiring , the 3/4 nut & the magnet . IIRC a deep 1 1/8 socket . I used a pair of vice grips on the socket ...

I have electric fuel so its real easy. I use a sear deep dish 1 1/8 inch socket. A lot of sockets aren't deep enough. Some say they can get to it with a open end wrench but I never tried it. I think you have to remove your fuel bowl but I'm sure someone else will help you on this.

any word on your issue? my 1211 code came back with my brand new ipr a month later. runs the same, higher idol, 925psi but down right boogies when you put her on the floor. cuts out when the CEL is off. bout to burn this thing..

I'm just living with my 1211 but when I set the cell it still runs good. High idle, that's weird?

Actually, I haven't had much time to mess with it, or find the right damn one I need. What exactly is an edge filter? Some come with them, some don't! And apparently, the parts department at my local ford dealer is either staffed idiots, or they don't want to help me with part number interchange because I'm not going to give them 2-3 times more for it then what I can get it for elsewhere!
