31000 miles of smiles here...just returned from a great week end of camping...no trans problems, no death wobbles, no throttle delay issues...just 12.9 mpg at 70 mph towing 13000 pounds of Big Horn...
I never considered the "2 foot throttle delay" before today. I can say that I do not see these hesitations in my truck...but...I always roll into my throttle and never just jump on the pedal...too hard on the tires
I just returned from a 1500 mile adventure to Texas to pick up a used 2011 F250 CC SB FX4 6.7 truck for my daughter. I was constantly comparing the driving experience with this truck to mine. They were very similar. I did not tow with the truck. I was very pleased with the way it drove. No trans, throttle or other issues to report...so I can say with certainty, based on actual experience, Ford has done a great job with this truck
Keep in mind the guy claiming the most problems has never owned a 2011 Ford 6.7 truck so his entire base for opinion is anecdotal...
With a sheepish look on my face, I'm writing to say I did a Youtube search on "2011 D-----x" problems and have found many. Some are similar to those reported about the 350.
Are you claiming that myself owning a 2011 Ford F-350 that has had problems and have over 12k miles on the odometor is not contributing anything. I have an open case with Ford on going looking into the problem. I have ran flight recorders twice and been in the shop numerous times. This problem is real and will gladly let anyone check my truck out that is around the Western Nebraska region. I have had multiple customers and friends ride with me and say the same thing.

I do not believe he was referencing you...
Although you have been vocal about your trans issues, I believe you have represented them fairly. Instead of just bashing the truck ***** nilly, you have voiced your willingness to work with your Ford dealer to resolve the problem.
I have watched this transmission saga unfold from the beginning. I have been fortunate that any anomalies I noticed were eliminated with the 400/800 update. I watched as each programming update systematically weeded out a percentage of the complaints. I believe we are now looking at trucks with tolerance stacked transmissions, although being within all required tolerances, that may not ever respond to programming tweaks. These transmissions are receiving new solenoids to abate the issue. Seeing that your truck had had them installed, I believe that you will eventually be the recipient of a new transmission.
I applaud your patience and civility
While I have been very satisfied with my truck's drive-ability, after driving Melissa's truck home from Texas with the updated programming, I will be visiting my dealer for a "smoooothness" upgrade

Nicely said. I also think he was not referring to Harris25
I drive a 2011 F-350. No problems, no issues. Recently noticed a bit of harsh transmission shifting, but I have not had any updates to my system, so a trip to my local steeler is in order.
On a side note, when compared to Chumpy or Drudge, there is no comparison.
No, this is false. These trucks are equipped with hill start assist. There is no way that the truck is going into neutral and be able to drift back. Under the mentioned scenario there is no need to have the brake applied while applying throttle. If that were to happen the truck would simply not have any power for 2 seconds.
Brake over throtel overide makes neccissary hill start assist
Thanks Rikatic
I have been working on end with my Ford dealer to try and get this issue resolved and has been ongoing since I bought the truck. I love the truck other than the fact that it does have its problems. I am more than willing to keep giving Ford their shot as I like them over the competition and have heard many good things from those with the truck. I bought this truck as a daily driver. I love the truck and hope with all these positive things that have been said going to get me a fix somewhere.

I'm not really sure what you are spanking or even what you are trying to say there. Hill Start Assist check out that link for an educational video directly from Ford.
If you buy a dually and run it empryt, expect the dually hop. All mine have done it to include the Dodge I had. I love my truck and my wife knows it. That's what she says everytime I tell I love my truck.

My response was not directed at you. I see your posts as contributing to the forum and that you're looking for resolution, that's what FTE is about!
