Transmission problem solved(so far)

I was having issues with my e4od locking the converter as soon as the trans shifted to 2nd intermittently.Chased my tail for weeks cleaning connections etc. However I appear to have accidently solved it by working on the gas gauge, lol.
The only thing I can figure is since the ecm gets it'speed signal from the psom is dirty connections ,and plugging and unplugging it several times in the course of gauge repair last weekend cleaned the connections and now all seems well.
