there is an easy way to do that, wrap string around the weatherstripping, in the groove, then put the windshield up to the truck and place one edge of the weatherstripping (preferably one near the end of the string) over the ledge where it will sit, then have someone press on the outside of the windshield and pull the string, which will in turn pull the edge of the weatherstripping up and around the ledge, it works best if you wrap the string around the windshield more than once so you can go around more than once just incase it doesn't seat all the way the first time but its really not that bad, I have a harder time getting the old one out
Im using the same paint as you just different colors. How well did it cover? Are you gonna wet sand and buff it or is it fine the way it is? Looks great.
The paint covered great, the white covered in the first pass as did the coral. If I were you I would use a sealer first, bout the best $20 insurance you can get. I have a few spots I need to redo and I will buff out the over spray from them but I laid it really smooth so no need to cut and buff really. Some advise would be to spray it early in the morning, the hotter it gets the harder it is to make it smooth. I think it was about 80 when I sprayed at 9am.

I used some round weed eater line to install the rear glass that way, with soapy water on the edges of the rubber to make it slip in easier. I figured I would let a glass pro put in the front, that way If the paint is scratched at least it wasn't me. plus that think looks HEAVY. But like with everything we will see what my money looks like when I get to that point.
Finally got a picture that doesnt turn my truck redish. Plus a few pictures of other parts from inside the truck I painted Coral. I also sprayed my tailgate today, I will post up a picture of that tomorrow after its installed.
I wet sanded them with 600 then hit them with 2k sandable primer then sealed them before I sprayed them. I know I took a chance like that but its not the end of the world if it comes off later. Plastic is always a little tricky, if you use spray can primer them automotive grade paint on top, there is a big chance the high quality paint will cause the rattle can paint to bust and crack.
And that 300 is my favorite engine. I willnt trade her for a v8 b/c I might go to fast and then people cant see my truck....haha just kidding but I do love my 300. My dad alwasy told me growing up that the inline 6 was the best motor around for these trucks and I didnt believe them until I drove my friends truck with the 351 and wasnt impressed.

The only reason you weren't impressed is because it was stock. Take a gander on the 351 W from pre 74 on google... you can make those into a 2000 horse drag engine.

I believe Its a 3.50:1 with my 3 on the tree, would the 3.0:1 give me better mileage? I sure could use it.
My F100 with 302 has 3.25 gears and seems great for driving and light towing. Gets good milage and goes down the road nice.
My 79 F150 destroyed the rear end a few years ago and the one I replaced it with has 3.00 gears. Good for highway driving as you can cruise down the highway great and great top end(cammed up a little). But other than that I hate the 3.00...im gonna get 3.25 to put back in it. The 3.00 gears take a little bit to get going with a load since the cam I have hurts what bottom end the 302 has.
Not worried to much about towing, this truck is more of a daily driver then anything, sadly the most weight I've ever put in there was maybe 1000lbs.But I do travel about 135 miles a day in her.
