Thanks for all the replies.
I really like it so far, but whats not to like? Compared to my '08, its a much smoother ride, power is night and day difference, mileage seems to be somewhat better, but it may be too soon to notice. I'm not holding my breath until I get the 30mpg forecasted by the window sticker... I hauled a dump trailer load of rubbish to the dump yesterday and it pulls much better than the '08, with the load on you can hear slight turbo whistle
Yes, I had ordered a Dodge HD... Why do I not have it? Well, I like to think myself somewhat of a financially responsible person, and with a young family and being the only working partner in the family (my choice, my wife is definitely not lazy!!!) I have to watch things closely. Being self employed doesn't make the task any easier. Anyway, the extra 20-25g spent to get a HD truck just couldn't be justified. I will only need to tow heavy for long distance once or twice in the near future, and the 11300lb capacity of the F150 will more than suffice. Then add the projected better fuel economy of the Ecoboost motor vs anything else out there in a pickup, reliability and durability of the F150 series trucks, it was foolish trying to justify spending more when I really didn't need it, nor could I safely afford it with work being much slower this year.
My '08 was an awesome truck. I didn't beat it or bag it, but it did work very near every day of its life with me. Always towing my work trailer, always full of material, took our family across Canada, put a smile on my face every time I turned the key and NEVER, NEVER let me down in 95k. I hope its fate is similar to my other trucks, and the 2nd owner is an older gentleman who has lots of time for empty box cruising and polishing. However there's an easy 200k of hard work left in that truck.
I still have to get pictures.

towed a 16' v-nosed cargo trailer yesterday, I'd say grossing @ 5500lbs, but a pretty big sail... this is a very capable truck. 110 down the highway with no feeling of having anything hooked to me... Going to wait to get pics next week. I wouldn't let the dealer clean the truck on monday cause I wanted to drive it away right away. Taking it back to them tomorrow so they can have it for the weekend to clean it up and do a proper delivery on it on Monday

it was part of the deal, and me and the wife are taking the Harley for a little camping trip this weekend. The truck might as well sit at the dealers lot where they can clean it up. One of my conditions for the sale on Monday was that I was driving it home that instant but would bring it back for them to clean and do a proper "delivery" scene where they take a picture of the proud owner, tell and explain to you all the new features and doo-dads
The salesman wasn't very willing to let it go like that, but we get along very well and worked it out. I'll be dropping it there sometime today.
I really like this truck so far, but to be perfectly honest, if I didn't have to set foot inside a 4-wheeled vehicle again, I'd be happier than the proverbial pig in ****... I love my Harley, spending time on that is better than any therapy you could possible imagine.
The crew at Royal is a top notch bunch. They are out to make money, no doubt. I did quite a bit of dealing back and forth trying to get a deal I was happy with, but in hindsight it was more my indecisiveness that was hindering a deal from happening than their lack of "dealing". When I finally made up my mind, it was very smooth.
Basically I came 1400 bucks ahead from my leased truck, which is a very rare occurrence to get any equity in a lease. Especially one that they consider to be a high miler.
