I hadn't found my socket yet to pull the ipr but I unplugged it and there's oil in the plug on it. I've heard of oil in the icp but not the ipr. Is this possible?

I doubt its from the IPR ...There is no direct path to oil from there ..
Not sure where it can be coming from then because the valley is dry and from what I can feel around for on the bottom of the IPR its not coming around it itself. I took a closer look this afternoon for chaffed wires while I was up there and found that the UVCH on the right bank was half unplugged....... D@MN IT!! Gonna try to find the pigtail because its not gonna stay plugged up.
Ford says they have just the plastic piece for $50. IH gonna hafta dig to find it so couldnt give me a answer this evening, but found the whole pigtail at strictly diesel for $55 plus shipping. Doubt thats my 1211 problem but that would somewhat explain the crapping running last night.

Rick you dont happen to have the IH numbers for the newer UVCH pigtails do you? I saw a post you made with the numbers to older style ones. The guy at IH here said hed have to dig to find them......
Thanks. I found some on another site that has them that I started a new thread about. I'll see what the consensus is and what the IH dealer has to say.
