2001 f250 wheels

I just bought tires for my f250. The rim size was 16". Wondering if I can move up to 17" tires and just get new rims? Any help would be appreciated.

Yep, but make sure the weight rating on the aftermarket wheels is appropriate for your truck, most aftermarket wheels are only rated 2200lbs, which is ok for a 1/2 ton but not for a super duty. Also make sure the backspacing is proper on the new wheels so they don't stick out too far or rub the front leafs when turning.
