hpop replacement

my 05 E 450 just died on the road had it towed to local dealer . the tech said it was the ficm. they had one in stock $800 luckely i had a spare at home curtesy of a wrecked o6 in my yard. after the tech replaced and reprogramed the ficm the truck still wont start but he now tells me theres a high pressure oil leak . maxed out at about 125 psi. from what i can find online its propaly the hpop. with the E vans acess to the hpop is much easier .can anyone help me find info on hpop removal and that bracket upgrade . i have the tools and space to do the repair. just need the info

Thanx

right now the truck is at the dealer. the techs reader was showing about 125 psi i have a code reader but not sure if it shows ipr. i have 3 6.0 trucks and so far have replaced injectors, alt, oil coolers , egr coolers etc so i,m not to scared to turn wrenches. i also have a spare parts 06
but vans are set up a little different than trucks

I agree, the stc fitting is between $30 and $70 depending on where you get it.

The turbo and pedestal need to be removed in order to access the high pressure oil pump on either E-Series or F-Series applications. Ease of access on either application is about the same in my opinion.

With as many 6.0L's that He has, I would agree with you.
