Axle ID

I have a question on my 64 Ford I just picked up, the numbers on the rear axle are 02AW-4668 A and 4E20 58 What do these mean? Thats the best I could tell wht they were after scarping years of dirt and grime off the 3rd member. No drain plugs in it as i could see either. And also on the ID tag on the drivers side door the axle code or number says.......Axle 12 what does this mean to any help would be appreciated thanks.

You could probably get more information in the 1961-1966 F100 forum, but here is something that may help.

And also on the Warranty Plate on the drivers side door, the Axle code is 12 what does this mean?

C2AW-4668-A = ID number found on the carrier. Ford part number: C2AZ-4141-B.

4E20 = Rear axle assembled May (E) 20, 1964 (4).

58 = Assembly plant code.

12: Ford 9" Rear Axle / 3.89-1 / non Limited Slip / 3,300 lb, Rear Axle Capacity.
