I took the truck out and got it up to 65 pretty quick and it didn't send a code. I didn't get to stay at that speed very long but the last time it sent a code it did it as soon as I hit 60 mph. Hopefully I've taken care of it for now but I'll drive it some more tomorrow and see.

you just can't beat starting with the simple stuff.
but now don't you just hate us here at FTE? i mean just think,you don't have to rush out to find a donor truck and start ripping out its manual hand shaker to get ya down the road again.
your gunna miss out on all that heavy lifting and playing with a clutch,pressure plate and throw out bearing etc.etc.

you patch up a bare wire,without even getting dirty and the most you had to lift was a roll of electrical tape. lol keep us posted.sounds like you solved the issue to me.
now if changing a throw out bearing or clutch in a manual were just as easy hey? (been there done that my share lmao.)

if it was so simply desgin a bare wire shoundnt be able to shut down the opertion or the part and changeing a clutch or thorw bearing isnt that hard u shure like ur auto are u a woman f250 cause all my gfs loved there little cars with autos in them

hey i have a new wiring harness i just havent installed it yet and my feul sending unit just quiet to lol that y my fuel shut off selniod is run to a toggel swtich that hot off my batter and that y i have a manuel tranny so even with my non working electrical my motor will still run

92 f250 idi e4od issue

So as I pulled out of the driveway my truck made a loud pop An instantly quit pulling... I turned the truck off then turned the key on engine off An put it in drive An when I turn the driveshaft the truck will roll. I have no clue what's going on
