First off, if this needs to be moved to a different section, please do so. I wasnt sure where to put it since I spend most of my time in the 6.4 section.
Now, thanks to everyone for their input, feedback and previous posts/threads about airbags, compressors and installation. Those threads prove to be a tremendous resource for me during my install. As I had mentioned before, I wanted something custom looking and I believe I achieved my goal. However, in doing so it did take me a considerable amount of time to finish. For those of you who dont know or have forgotten I purchased the Firestone W217602450 Ride-Rite Kit for Ford F-250/350 and the Firestone 2198 Ride-Rite Heavy Duty Dual Air Command III Air Compressor System Firestone 2198 Ride-Rite Heavy Duty Dual Air Command III Air Compressor System . All in all it took around 12-15 hours to get everything in and functioning properly. A LOT of this time was spent on the customization in the dash. Below are a few pics as well as a link to all the pics of the install.
The dash before install (panels removed)
First I removed the cigarette lighter panel, removed the cigarette lighter and installed the gauge.
Then I installed the switches.
Then I removed the Line In plug and moved the cigarette lighter to this location.
Thanks guys! It was a little bit of a pain but I enjoyed working on it.
Question... Obviously when I hook up the camper the pressure in the bags rises. Should I set the pressure in my bags before or after the camper is hooked up? Also, whats the general rule of thumb for amount of pressure to have?

I set mine up so it's automatic. That way I never have to think about it. I set the sensor so that unloaded it raised the rear end about 1/4 - 1/2" so as to always have that minimum amount of pressure in the bags. After that it's just hook up and forget it. Once the weight hits the pin the pump comes on and re-levels the truck. Slicker than hog snot.
I'm looking at adding the Firestone air bags and compressor to my truck. How does the panel for the cigarette lighter come out? Does it pop out or is it secured somehow?
I would like to put my custom switch panel in the 12 v cigarette location. Was it hard to move the plug down to the blank location. Has anyone done this? It looks very clean in the pics.
