It also depends on what you want to do. Do you want to save money or do you want to save fuel? You can't save enough fuel to pay for the hit you will take trading in. If you like your truck you should keep it. If you change trucks a lot the 6.7 is a wicked beast and is awesome!

Just completed a trip from Yakima Washington to Whidbey Island Washington plus driving around the island and mainland got 18 miles per gallon with 4 adults and 2 kids and a bed full of luggage and got 18 miles per gallon driving anywhere from 50 on island to 74 MPH on freeway. I drove a total of 700 miles. Truck is F250CC long box with 331 gears. I get about 11 to 13 pulling a 11000 pound 5th wheel and about the same pulling my horse trailer. I have 13,000 miles on truck and the road mileage seems to be improving.
