I found a drawing of a 48-50 truck. I then converted it so I could make a toolpath for my CNC mill. I set the cover up on the mill and cut it with an engraving cutter. Took me at least a day to get the drawing right and the program made for it. Then I had to make a reverse program for the other side.
Once I had the program, it took about 30 min to get the cover mounted level and square. About 10 min to engrave it.
If you decided to make - and buy any chance - sell them... Different design that I would provide already in CAD format for your CNC machine - if that's what you are using...
Thanks for the compliments and interest in my valve covers. I appreciate it.
At the present time I am very busy and have no time for working on truck stuff.
My truck needs some attention, but it is going to have to wait a while, along with anything else. When the situation changes, I will let everyone know. Thanks,
