Just completed EGR delete and rebuilt oil cooler. Reinstalled EGR valve to rid EGR codes. Ran great for a couple minutes and then threw code 2084. I drove the truck about 20 miles to hopefully rid any air in the HPOP, Checked all elec. conections, and checked for oil leaks. I can find nothing wrong. The truck starts right up like a champ and the proceeds to act eratic. Acts as if someone was bouncing their foot on the foot feed. If you put the pedal to the floor, you would think 25hp has been added. Runs like a scalded beast, but with the pedal is pushed to anything less than 3600rpm the truck surges and even sometimes will cut out to the point I think it died. Three seconds later and its bouncing rpms again. I unplugged the IPC and then the truck threw a 2085 and 2084. Cleaned terminal which looked perfectly clan and pluged it back in. Threw the 2084 code only. Cant get any accurate readings on the scan gage due to no type of throttle controll. After it warms up engine temp is showing 102. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I will check the ficm plugs. I may be getting the ipr and the ipc confused, and I have read where people had problems with it after changing oil cooler. It just seems funny that at that exact time the ipr goes out.
