patch panel adhesive

I guys, I need help, trying to help my kid repair the rust over the wheel wells on a 92 f150. The truck is in bad shape and is not a restoration candidate. I just want to make it look decent for/with him. I got the patch panels and was talking to a couple people that said most body shops are now using adhesive to bond the panel.
WHat adhesive will work for my application? I do not want to break the bank but I dont want the panel falling off in a couple of weeks either.
WHat do you recommend and where can I get it?

THanks for your help.
Robb

I've also spoken to a guy that does classic & rod restorations around here and he said he uses adhesives for panel repairs so I figured I'd try it.

I just ordered this kit from Eastwood to give it a try. Check out the instructions tab, it gives pretty good detail on how to do it.

No Weld Panel Repair Kit

A member on here has recently used this method and told me its as simple as clipping out the old rust, prepping (Sanding, etc) and gluing the panel in.......And he says it has brought good results....

Jk89cat is the man to talk to about this ordeal....He loves this method over welding....

I have used this kit a couple of times, and I have found it to work very well.
