memories
so i just wanted to take the time to start a topic for them

have at it, what is a fun/sad/terrible memory that you have and would love to tell?
mine would have to be when i was throwin a ball around outside, and when i picked it up she came after me and bit me right in the @$$, tore a whole through everything i was wearing.
then there was a time i was over at a buddies and he has a huge masstive named Bo-Bo and his little friend A.B.E (ankle biter extrordinare) who is still a puppy. and Bo Bo is a male. so he has some...well...pretty big ***** and well....Abe is a biter lol i leave it at that. that yelp that Bo Bo made...talk about whoa

And then one of my dog now, he is such a smart dog. When he was a puppy I had bought him a doggie bed. Each morning I found white stuffing in the garage. But he was still in his cage with the doggie bed, nothing seemed wrong. Finally I was fed up with it...I had to look...sure enough he was chewing the doggie bed and then flipping it over in the morning. Hard to be mad when he was that smart and cute!
I tell dad he just wishes he could ride too.
I don't know if it is true of all black and tan dogs, but the IQ of most that are marked that way seems unusually high...
I was able to point left or right to get a dog like that to unwrap its chain from around a tree by just saying "GO AROUND" or "AGAIN".
It learned it rapidly, so we went hiking together....
(Further deponent sayeth not, but it learned a lot)
The average range of a Labrador retreiver based mutt on both sides of the trail you are walking is anywhere from 100 feet to 100 yards, and they cross the trail in front of you to touch bases.
(Letting you know where they are, and that they are not in trouble)
The average round is at least five minutes - with everything THOROUGHLY checked.
Dogs are better sentries than soldiers
For one thing, dogs don't read Hustler and Playboy on duty

But everything else is fascinating, and worth investigation...
