I'd call ford cust svc on this one. You have had reoccurring problems with this truck and they never found the problems.

You also need a new dealer.

I'm sure there are many job 1 trucks out on the road problem free. But from all the problems I have read on different websites, if I was in the market for a 6.4 I wouldn't even consider a 2008 model. I would want to spend my money wisely and avoid any headaches.

With a recurring problem like yours, it would seem you have a case. As stated above, try calling Ford as a start. A consumer attorney would be the next step. Might cost half the engine cost though. Good luck with this. Sounds like the dealer had allot to do with this.

Wow, 5 radiators (if I counted right) looks like there is another issue that was never found. I think you have more than enough to ask for Ford to pay for that. Did it hydro lock, run out of oil, over dilute the crank case..what?

Wow...that's quite a string of lousy luck! I agree with what's stated above, contact Ford Customer Service.

And seriously, find a new dealer. I think that misdiagnosis and ineffective repairs are the reasons for your troubles.

I used three different dealers during all of those issues. So I have a hard time blaming one over the other.

Wow...in this case you have had some seriously bad luck. Most of the time there are frequent repeated problems with a vehicle it's a case of misdiagnosis. While the majority of techs are really good at what they do there are a few who do as much harm as good.

My neighbor had a similar problem on his '04 Excursion...

He took the truck into the same local dealer several times while under warranty for an overheating condition and they kept replacing the radiator and sending him home. Come to find out the Oil cooler was clogged and the EGR cooler was about to blow) The truck finally blew up and ford wanted $7-8K to fix it. After showing the track record on the truck and talking to the right people, Ford bought his truck back and sold him a 2008 F250.

The lesson here: customer service as well as a few emails and phone calls to a higher up should get things resolved.

Please stay around and let us know how this is resolved. So far my job 1 has been great but it sounds like your's was not fixed right from the get go. If it takes a law suit to resolve it Ford don't want me on the jury. Good luck

I was told by my service writer, in their cases, that once a suit is filed, they, FORD, more often than not pay the claim.

2 high pressure pumps, 5 radiators and a $14,000 engine. If any good came out of this story, you just made me really happy that I didn't buy a 6.4.

It won't be easy, but I think if you talk to the right people and are persistent you should be able to get Ford to pay for this. Don't give up!

I would have a new hobby, called running up the Ford customer service chain until I got resolution.

That truck would be on my front lawn with a LARGE "lemon" sign and details of the nonsense (there is no excuse for that many radiators) I was put through.

My sig line in the (other) forums I visit would become :

"Ask me about my junk 2008 F350 grenade."

After Ford repaired it, if they do, it would be wise to sell it before the same problems recur.
