I have seen it done but was never curious enough to ask till now. But how would i go about upgrading my A/C climate control unit in m 1995 f150 4.9L single cab truck? i was looking at using a unit from a 2003 crown victoria. My system is vacuum and electric controlled from the climate control unit itself as is. If you have any other questions please ask or if you know how please be very detailed and let me know. Thank you.
I don't see any point in doing this. The truck system works fine. I bet they are essentially the same and no increase would be seen. Besides it wouldn't be worth the effort.
Its not the fact of time consumption i just think it looks cooler and i like the idea of digital readings of inside, outside, and air temps. Its just something i thought would be different to do.
It could be kinda cool I guess. Maybe Frederick did that to his F350 when he went to the digital T bird instrument cluster. I don't know what colors they all came it. I would find a green one to match the gauges not the aqua color. I'm honestly kind of surprised that the Eddie Bauer Bronco didn't have it.
Well i found an in depth write up on how to do it. I was also surprised. First time it came out was on the Explorer. Thanks for the suggestions. Ill let you all know more as i get into the project.
