Clunking in Drive?

Hey all, I've got a 92 f250 351w e4od. Recently the truck started making strange clunking/grinding noises while in drive. This normally is happening with my foot on the brake at, or coming to, a stop. However, It is also happening about half of the time when I start the truck as its turning over. No noise in park and little to none while cruising. Anybody every experience this? Any advice is much appreciated. ...beer is good for you.

I`ll take a few guesses.
Cracked/broken flexplate or loose converter to flexplate bolts or loose flywheel bolts or loose starter bolts. Hopefully other opinions will follow.
