Reason being is I have a muffler that a guy with a 96 7.3 wants to buy and him and I were talking about just doing the whole exhaust system but he didnt know what was in there already (stock)
Come to think, he did say he put a 3" down pipe in. Does that sound right for the exhaust system he would have stock?
Also, he asked about something just before the muffler on the exhaust. I guessed it was a resonator. Is that correct?
The thing in front of the muffler is a catalytic converter, all OBS trucks had them, while most SD trucks don't. Most guys gut them or delete them, same difference A 3" DP is what most guys run. It is also all that you can fit without a body lift, or some other firewall modification.
