I did the 05-up upgrade on my 04 King Ranch. I used the precut newer style grill and the newer headlights. They came with the wiring adapter and all I did was cut some of the header panel behind the lights. I think it looks super now...
Yeah I helped a friend cut one and it wasnt too bad, I just didnt want to chance it myself. Plus the stupid grills around here were going close to the same the pre-cut ones on ebay.
Your truck looks great. Where did you get the lights? How much?
Greg
Here you go Greg....comes with adapter too. You just need to trim part of the header panel to fit the lights and I believe there are instructions on how to do it.
ye3ah everything is working fine, now I just see myself looking at them alot when towing. I am going to have to find a better way to mount them to the winshield, One corner started to slide
The old man's birthday is Thursday, just threw these in his truck... wonder how long it'll take him to notice. They're the Eagle Eyes off ebay, surprisingly not made in China but Taiwan. We'll see how long they last.
No kidding right! He came out the door to go out to his garden and almost busted me. My skinny butt had to hide behind a tree. I didn't get to adjust them at all, no telling where they'll be pointing!!
Thanks for the information. There are so many aftermarket lights out there, you never know what kind of product you are going to get. Very much appreciated, trying to go for the same look you have. Nice job.
