I'm currently replacing the rubber seals on all the windows and doors for my 1966 Ford F100. I already took the vent window frame out of the door, but I'm having trouble separating the wing glass from the frame. I can remove the nut and the spring at the bottom as well as the screws around the frame, but I can't remove the pin because of the teardrop washer. Can anyone give me any advice on this process? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.
You must tap the stud gently with a brass or plastic hammer while the washer is against the frame. The tear drop washer is stamped female to the studs male splines and slides on. corrosion over the years tends to lock them together.
Make notes as to the location of the tear drop shaped part as it needs to go back together the same way.
The one in the picture is better shape than anyone I've had to remove; use some BP Blaster and soak it and as mention by others tap it out on thru your frame housing.
If I recall; same set up on dentsides; so you could possibly remove one from a salavage yard truck to replace your pivot washer & nut.

The setup is the same, but the parts are not the same (except for the friction washers) after 1966...except: 1963/69 N/NT/T500/1000 & 1967/69 F800/1000's use the same parts because the cab is the same).
If you want the same parts, look for 1949/56 Ford Passenger Cars for the friction washers, pivot stops and nuts, or to 1960/64 Galaxies for the whole shebang.
btw: I looked in DC's car parts catalogs for these parts, nothing is listed.
