Good morning, everybody! They are predicting 98 degrees with 90% humidity and 105-110 degrees heat index for Chattanooga today. Gonna try and stay in the car as much as possible today...

I'm going to keep the 4-cyl and at some point punch it out to a 2.5 and do a mini-stocker build on it. But it will never have a "T-K" gearbox again!

I know V8's, and I can probably scrape up any extra stuff I need locally - I found an intake for a spread-bore quad already - but it's stock. The cam for this beast is a .500 lift 273 duration - I already have it in a box.

Step one will be pricing the block work. We have a guy with his own machine shop...

I also have people around me here with so much 302 stuff that it's a constant trip-hazard

If I need anything real bad you'll see it in the buy/sell/trade thread, it's too bad I don't have an EXPLO chassis already laying around but oh freaking well

Well, today marks the completion of my first full Monday through Friday week at Nashville Auto Diesel College. I must say so far I am very impressed with the school, but not the 17-19-year-old immaturity. Part of it, though. Bring on the rest!!!

The Confederate, The Nashville Auto Diesel College is a very good school. Like everything else in life it will be up to you as to what you do with it. A number of years ago a young man, who is now my brother in law, escaped the poverty of a very rural area in West Virginia by attending there. He now owns a very profitable little 5 bay auto repair shop just a few miles down Gallatin Road from the school. Study very hard and avoid the immature riffraff crap that goes on there and the teachers there will help you even after you have left there. Example; they will help you to find work. And in my brother in laws case I know that many years in the summer when he is ready to take a vacation one of the teachers there comes and runs his business while he is gone and thus also keeping the teacher up to date with current, real world, hands on, experience, helping him to prepair you for a successfull carreer. Good luck with it.

Well, late to the game but figured I best weigh in on the July issue. I am starting reassembly on the '73. Got the glass in, starting the fun part.
