There are no leaks to be seen so I am guessing it was not topped off at the factory. As for the oil changes, I can't believe they recommend something like 8000 miles between oil changes. The most I will let it go will be 5000. Even my diesels were getting changed every 5000 miles. I did this one at 1600 miles and I will do the next one when it hits 5000 and then every 5000 after that.
While I was underneath I was impressed with the mandrel bends in the exhaust pipes and all the insulation that is now under the cab and on the firewall. No wonder why it is so quiet.
I did the same thing at 1800, and will do the next the same as you. The only problem was that they put the filter on with a air ratchet, other then that it was very easy to change the oil.

Think I am going to order the tune today, thanks for help on the order process.

I to went from a 6.0 diesel to the6.2 and love the oil changes, don't have to fool with the drained out 15 qts just the 7 qts now. I change mind at 4000-5000 miles except if I tow then I do it at 3000 miles.

Mike, I was kinda joking here.... Are you serious? Do your tunes have the throttle position at 90 degrees throughout the rpm band?? Interesting.

Just got my tunes, and what a difference from the stock. Shifts are better, stay in the lower gear longer, and throttle response in 100% better. Towing is soooooo much better with the 87 tow tune too. Always had the torque needed to pass and climb any incline. It's very impressive so far.

Have you been having any of the "shifting bugs" people have described here on this forum? If so, did it seem like the tune ironed them out? I know this question was asked a time or two already. Just wondering. I have one little buggy in 3rd gear where it seems like it shifts but doesn't. You can see the rpm's fall back abit, them come back up, and finally shift into 4th. Weird. Seems like its "slipping" so to speak, which I HATE. Wide open is fine. A time or two, I have experienced abrupt downshifts, but that seems to be when it is cold for some reason.
