Factory A/C and/or super cooling option got a shroud. Non-A/C used the smaller radiator and that little guard across the top.
finally getting started on getting the engine bay and engine cleaned up,bought a chrome valve cover and bolts, bolts were 1/4 inch so they wont work and the valve cover ,well you get what you pay,lol here's before pic after so far
Heer's one I have at work, I can post more tonight when I get home. I think Ford used a BIG shoehorn on the 460. Note the dual "smokegrinders" That's how it gets by with no catalytic converter.
The 460 really isn't shoe-horned in there - but I've got years of working with Corvettes under my belt. In the truck engine bay, the 460 looks like a smallblock does in a regular passenger car.
