The "MSD" sticker on the ignition box screams add-on. It was an over the counter Ford performance part, but not factory installed.

No worries, we all can get in a hurry and overlook small details.

Here's mine about 5 years ago. Still looks about the same... I hate that dealer "Super Seal" that you see on the hood and inner fenders, and along the whole underneath of the truck... It's rubber and begining to peel now.

I need to remember to save these photos when I get home. I'd like to add A/C to my 460 one of these days.

I know what you mean about spaghetti - ESPECIALLY the damned float bowl vent tubes. What a mess.

Do you think the dynamat on the firewall helped anything?

I had a piece of dynamat laying around, stuck it on the firewall and didn't notice a difference.........it was removed a while back.

Thanks! A lot of hard work has gone into this truck..

That engine was rebuilt after my son blew it on the way to Tucson so I thought it was a good time to give it some love.

Hadn't thought of the Petty colors but your right. lol I was going to do Ford Blue with all Black accessories but my son wanted a "Superman" engine.

Its Ford Blue and Chrysler red. I just hope the Chrysler paint doesnt make it break down or ask me to give it lots of money.

What kind of options does it give you? Never seen one of those, It doesn't appear to be the old Ford Racing module that has the rev limiter.

I rebuilt my engine a few years ago; ever since then, I wash it once a year using warm water & dish soap, the only leak I have is in the side of the oil pan where the dipstick tube joins it, there are 4 rivets that hold the dipstick mounting assembly to the pan and they seem to be leaking.

Of course, the tranny input shaft leaks, the transfer case leaks, both axles leak....
