Ive got actual Numbers...

So I finally got around to getting the truck dyno'd I did 3 pulls with 3 different tunes from my Edge Evolution Tuner. (Modifications listed in Signature)

Dyno: Dynojet
Temperature: 89 Degrees
Humidity: 60%
Elevation 400FT

1.) Stock Tune - 249HP, 394TQ
2.) Economy Tune - 300HP, 473TQ
3.) Extreme Tune - 343HP, 532TQ

These are the preset tunes from Edge. Overall I was pretty happy with the results. The extreme tune started to cut out so we let off and this is what we had. I do not have head studs so I diddnt want to push it too far. I just thought I would post it up so those who are interested in buying a tuner have an Idea of what to expect. Do not expect your results to be Exactly the same, as they vary due to weather, setup, elevation etc... But this is what MY results were. I drive around daily with the Economy tune on and average from 14-16MPG.

cool thanks for the numbers

I can see Im going to have to get a tunner I get around the same fuel milage stock might as well give it 50 more ponies

and If I pop its top I wont blame it on ford just a lesson learned

I think quite a few people run tunners without headstuds FWIW

I think sct will pull better number . just my .02

thats what I was going with an sct

sorrey but that edge is a tranny KILLER for these 6.0s

that could have been what was cutting out on the preformance tune run

my sct on my dually put down 375 with 2 bad injectors.

IIRC the edge evolution is a flash tuner not a "chip/module"???

Ive been thinking about getting the SCT SF3 and just using the Edge for a Guage (to monitor EGT, EOC, ECT, and Trans temp.
