got an issue i can't figure out. right blinker indicator in the dash stays on when i turn the parking lights on and makes the right blinker and four-ways inoperable. turn the lights off an all works asa it should. i'm thinking by turning the lights on i am backfeeding voltage into the blinker circuit somehow, but i cant figure out where.
- replaced the 7-point trailer plug recently due to corrosion making the trailer brakes inoperable. that was my first guess for my current problem so i disassembled it and no luck.
- pulled the dash out, nothing looks out of place, frayed, bare, etc.
- i have been running LED bulbs along with an electronic flasher for almost 5 years now; could my electronic flasher be going bad? does a parking light singal go thru that?
Could be a short in the multifunction switch or the wiring up the column.
lol well i happen to have a new multi-function switch sitting around from the last time i had this issue and it ended up being the trailer harness, lol. guess i have a plan for this weekend finally.
Any luck with this issue yet? I've got the exact same thing happening right now in my Ex. I haven't even looked at it yet, (started 3 days ago) but I assumed it was a filament swinging around inside the bulb making intermitent contact...
