When I got my 99 F350 CCSB 4wd, it had front blocks and some ghetto bolt on dual shock setup, using a spacer in the OEM lower shock mounts, and a new shock tower, placing both shocks in single shear. Obviously, this setup blows. I have remedied the block issue, and have a set of Bilsteins for the front.
All I need is a set of OEM shock towers. Does anyone have a decent source for these, other than the boneyard? Has anyone pulled theirs off to do a dual shock setup? I can get them new for about 30/ea at the dealership, but wouldnt mind getting a used set if anyone has them.
