01 5.4 shift points??

Hi guys,
I'm wondering if my truck has a different chip or not.. I bought the truck a year old. It's a 2001 F-150 with a 5.4 engine. Also has the off road pkg..

I concerned with the 1-2 shift point. At full throttle it does not shift until 5200 rpm. Is that high? It really seems to be reving... I'm also getting 18mpg on the hwy.. Does all this stuff sound normal?

This sounds normal to me.
These engine do rev quite high and can handle higher RPM shifts with no problems.
Maybe someone else will have some real shift point numbers.

WoW, I'd love to get 18mpg. But i drive kinda fast on the highway. Shifts sounds normal at wot. Mine shifts a little lower but you probably have the 4r70w and i have the 4r100 trans.
