Headers

will headers from a 69 mustang windsor fit on my 92 windsor? if yes, do any of you have long tube headers installed on your trucks?

the headers should bolt up, but that is the least of you problems, you might come into problems with the headers fitting in the truck, either too wide, or too narrow, or too something. hopefully someone else knows a bit more than i and will chime in

they will bolt up,but it is highly unlikely they will exit anywhere usable for your truck. do a search for "long tube headers" on here and read until your head explodes!! plenty of info on here about this subject.

the reason that i am getting headers for my truck is because the manifolds are corroded cracked and the gaskets are screwed. I can get a pair from craigslist for under 100 bucks, so thats why i was looking at headers from a 69 mustang. I also saw a pair of short headers, so I think ill go for those

Why did this need to be added to a post in a forum for Trucks that never had an FE supplied in them, and on a Thread that's been dead for over a decade?
