key door chime

My brother-in-law has a 2009 6.4 Lariat and would like to leave his key in the ignition and have the door open without the chime sounding. How is this done?

I put black tape around the contacts at the key cylinder on my old '99 F250, was thinking about trying it with the '08. 5 minute fix.
ON EDIT: I don't think this will work on '08+ trucks

Now how can I do the same with the seat belt minder? Same truck same guy just turn off the seat belt minder. Can this be accomplished useing my AE?

There is a procedure in the owner's manual for turning off the seat belt minder. If you don't have an owner's manual let me know and I will look it up for you. That is one of the first things I did when I got the truck way back in 2008.
