lift kit problems
lift kit problems
i just recently put a 4 in suspension lift on my truck from rough country and now my front tires toe in like no other, before i even put the lift on i knew i needed to do cambers, and i already did my ball joints. however, i read somewhere that i would need camber shims for my new cambers because of my lift. is that right?
Do you mean the tires are like this \ / or actually toed in towards the front of the truck? If they are like this \ / then you need the camber bushings replaced. I would think the lift would have come with them. Most alignement shops have them and can do it for you.
the tops are toed in towards the engine. i was told i needed new cambers. the alignment shop could have done them for me but i usually do everything on my truck myself so i didnt have them do them. they wanted a rediculous price also.
THE TOPS ARE TOED IN TOWARD THE ENGINE ?
are the drop brackets the right ones , or are they for a 6" lift ?
what is the model # of the kit ?
some kits come with a cam bolt to help adjust the camber !
