Alt noise???

Alt noise???
Well after 107,000 miles and still a strong running truck/motor I did my fan clutch (replaced wit ford) i have what i was told is a whining alt bearing anyone else have this problem? i'm leaving for FL in 13 days and want no problems.

i would replace it if i were you.letting it go when driving around town is ok, but risking it on a long trip is different. personally i would want the piece of mind that it was repaired. especially something easy like an alt.
