Haven't been around in a while - the new job is going great, I have been so busy I don't have time to get online much anymore! This is my first weeknight home since the first of this month! Still lovin the job...working my a$$ off and lovin every minute of it! I'll pop in from time to time, just not as much as I was before.
Speaking of which - anybody who knows VHF/UHF/SHF 2-Way Communications - talk to me! The company has two openings here in MS and they are desperate to fill them. The company is Comet Industries, we work on all of Kansas City Southern RR's communications and signal equipment - it's a good job and it'd be perfect for a tech who can work alone and can handle working in any weather. Spent 5 years as a radar instructor for AEW Transmitters, ten or twelve as a radar tech doing the same stuff I taught. It sounds like a ways down the highway from me though...

I think you may be...the Artesia Subdivision ends at Counce, TN...I'm pretty sure that's more than a couple of hours from Millington.
When I worked at Raytheon, I was assigned to the E2-D (digital upgrade for the E2-C) project after we completed the F/A-18 and F-22 AESA (Advanced Electronically Scanned Array) project...the E2 project was a major part of the reason why I quit and went to AAI/Textron and the USAF C-17 trainer program.
