I got a job I really wanted. I'm a maintenance tech at Lake Bistineau State Park. Its in the middle of nowhere but I like it. I fish this lake most of the time. My drive to work is all back roads no big cities. Its a La state job with all the benefits. Its a big park with many cabins & camp sites to keep up. The fishing is good with a state hatchery on the lake. I start next week. Its slow till spring but we have lots of repairs to keep us busy. If you keep things right a job like this isn't hard to do.
We do have a canoe trail to keep open year round. It just might need the fishing checked on the trail too. Just being able to launch my boat right after work is great. I can be fishing 15 minutes after I get off work.
