Camera in a fifth wheel tailgate???

Camera in a fifth wheel tailgate???
I just picked up my 2011 F-350 Lariat that has a Factory rear camera in the handle of the tailgate.
It's really a great thing to have, but I pull a lot of gooseneck and fifth wheel trailers and typically have an aftermarket fifth wheel tailgate on the truck.
Has anyone seen or heard of a kit or camera that is compatible with the factory ford system and could be mounted to the aftermarket gate?
I've got a machine shop so making brackets and such wouldn't be a problem. Maybe I can just buy a replacement camera unit and make my own "kit"?
