rear brakes again

We've put 2 sets of shoes on the rear of my son's 94 f-250 in 15-20,000 mi.The lining is just worn out,anybody have trouble wearing out rear brakes?

Rear brakes may be dragging. First suspect would be the rear flexible brake hose. Second would be sticking parking brake cables. Third would be sticking wheel cylinders.

It also could be the RABS module sticking.

I'm going to have to check everything again.I'm putting new shoes and drums on it and I'll make sure the e-brake ,wheel cyls.,and adjusters are are free and easy.They were all installed new and are about 1 1/2 yrs. old.
