I've had great luck with HF hand tools and air tools. Was going to get the cordless sawzall for an exhause job because of the nice "swivel head" feature, but may go for the codered model after reading the poor reviews.
I've sean 2 of the cheapo $69.99 chop saws fail, but they were being used hard for production work. Anyone have any futher experiences with the cordless sawzall or the more expensive $99 metal chop saw?
I've checked the reviews and watched some youtube vids on the yellow motorcycle lift. I took the plunge and ordered one today. I'll post a review on it later.
If you are going to use the sawzall mostly on sheet metal and exhaust, get a real one. Thin stuff grabs the blade and that is really hard on the gears. I destroyed a couple B&D Firestorm ones like that.

I have used my HF sawzall on alot of exhaust, not so much sheet metal though, for about 4 years now without any problems. its also the same sawzall that went through an 80's f250's frame in under 4 minutes.
I can say without a doubt HF sawzall blades ain't worth a crap. The bi metal blades don't last long cutting any ferris metals.. The wood blades last pretty decent amount of time as long as wood, sheet rock and other soft materials is all you're cutting. Touch a nail with them, just throw the blade away.
