Roughly $45 for the muffler and then I did the labor myself. But a regular shop around here would run about $50-60 to cut the stock muffler out and weld the new one in with the material cost of extra pipe for the gap. So I would say you get away with $100 deal.

This is another setup I have experienced in a couple truck, as well I have done the labor to get to the completed stage. Sounds great and might cost around the same as my get up or a slight bit more.
boomer...i actually just read that post of yours before i read this one of yours. i would do that, but i dont want it to scream...haha...i just want a nice sound at idle nothing obnoxious, but i do want it to have a lil a$$ when i get on it
Then the first one I suggested would be really nice and instead of running the pipe all the way back. Let it dump right after the muffler you decide to install.
yeah i have really been thinking about that set up and cutting it off right after the new muffler...it is ridiculous the size of muffler my truck came with
