Command Center for 2003 F150
Hi guys, forgive me if this question has been answered before. I'm just very frustrated right now and looking for a quick answer.
I have a 2003 F150 Harley Davidson Special. The "Command Center" display has gone out. Ford says the part number replacement is 10D898 but the unit is no longer available. Of course not since it's covered under my extended warranty!
I've read a couple very old posts stating it might just be a chip or wire that's come loose and it's usually an easy fix and maybe just the board can be replaced. Ford said the entire console has to be replaced.
Any ideas where I can turn or what I might be able to do? I know absolutely nothing about fixing cars/trucks but I can possibly take it to someone who can fix it with the right tools and advice.
